For our special project during ACL Festival, we rented a house mere blocks away from the grounds. This was the first year the fest stretched over two weekends so it gave us plenty of down time to explore South Congress.

Jeremy rode his bike alongside our two pedicabs as we weaved our way across the South Congress bridge to 6th street for a night of celebration. We soon learned the Texas art of beer-amid building, creating a 3 foot stack of Shiners as a monument to our future hangovers.

Texas takes their BBQ seriously, especially at Franklin’s. Be prepared to wait in line for at least 3 hours. But a cold pop to cool you down and, if you’re lucky, 'a sausage to pass the time' makes it go quickly. Once you have your first bite of brisket, you know it’s all been worth it.

After ACL wrapped up, we took our team to Violet Crown for a late-showing of Gravity.
Note: Gourdough's bacon topped donut's always seem like a good idea until you're finished.
