The marvelous adventures of Kaitlyn & Taylor, who call home for the past 1851 days.

Berlin, Germany

We took the train to Berlin for a 2 week long Sched-cation with Sasa, Ante, Michelle and Marko.

Neueheimat, German translation: New Home. This old train station in Friedrichshain has been transformed into a world of it's own. It's a safe haven for graffiti artists, adding color, vibrance and life back to these old walls. We also heard the entire station may be up for sale soon.

Even the local convenience stores sold small, boxed pieces of the Berlin Wall.

In the Exit Room challenge, we were locked in a mad scientist's kitchen to piece together clues to save the world! You'll be happy to know we were successful (you're welcome!) and even had 5 minutes and 44 seconds to spare.

It was insanely fun problem solving as a team. If the world were in danger, who are you going to call? Sched Team!

We took Alternative Berlin's Graffiti Workshop & Street Art Tour and completely recommend it. For the rest of our trip, it was awesome to see street art and be able to identify the group behind it.

Taylor usually stays home to work, so finding the right museum buddy can be tough. Someone who appreciates the same art, asks questions and likes to go at the same pace. Michelle fits the bill and I was so happy to have a new museum buddy.

The ladies of Sched celebrate the success of saving the world from the mad scientist!
